A filling is used to restore a tooth once damaged by decay. White fillings not only just repair cavities in damaged teeth, but they also offer a great aesthetic opportunity. These are made from a composite resin and give the tooth a natural look to it.

Your dentist will first anaesthetise the area and then remove the decay as is the process with any normal filling procedure. Then the dentist will choose the colour/ shade which closely matches your natural tooth colour. The resin will then be applied in layers, and we will use a bright curing light to harden the material with every layer. The filling will then be shaped and polished for the most natural-looking finish possible.
